
After the success of the Dartford Festival 2008, the Celebtime team announced an even more exciting bill for 2009. This years, held in July, was attended by 53,000 people over the two days.
09' headliners were hugely popular 'Lemar' (Saturday) and the much loved 'Stavros Flatley' and other Britain's Got Talent favourtites Sean Smith and The Faces Of Disco(Sunday). Lemar caused a bit of a storm with the ladies, as did the crowd favourites TheTake That Experience. Sunday also saw the popular chart topping 'S Club 3' headline the day.
Mark Read ex of chart toppers A1 also made a guest appearance performing some of his new material and a storming version of A1's hit "Take On Me", along with major label girl band The Dolly Rockers. There was a special treat for Jazz fans with set from internationally renowned 'The Temperance Seven'.
As usual there was an array of of top tributes from around the UK, such as tributes to Abba, Michael Jackson, Duffy, Girls Aloud and The Sugarbabes, plus the best of local talent. The festival grows in popularity each year and 2009 proved to be the most successful yet.
